One thing you notice right away when you arrive at Surin beach is the number of small seaside dining locations; these are a real joy to have a late afternoon lunch or sunset dinner. If you like Thai and seafood at very cheap prices this is one of the best places to go, and you get the ultimate seaside dining only a few meters away from the beautiful waters of the Andaman Sea. The surf at Surin beach can be pretty rough at times, so please be cautious, one of my many distance swims that are around the Island of Phuket is located right here. During the low season there is not much activity on the beach, same goes with high season, you never really experience the overcrowded feeling. So my recommendation to you is when you come to Phuket please schedule a day or two and enjoy this beautiful pristine beach, youll be glad you did, remember to take you camera, the surroundings are breathtaking and beautiful.
